Schedule of Events for the last week of school:
PLEASE NOTE A COUPLE OF CHANGES/UPDATES!*
NOW: If your child wants to have HOT lunch on Field Day, please go online and order Hot Lunch for Tuesday, May 29th.
Monday, May 28th: MEMORIAL DAY, NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, May 29th: Field Day! Please put sunscreen on your child before they come to school!
Wednesday, May 30th: Spelling Bee for Grades 1-3 at 8:30 a.m.in the auditorium
A classroom spelling bee was held this week and our representatives will be:
Second Grade: Kyler, Morgan, Josh, Stone and Nicholas S.
Third Grade: Keegan, Nicholas M., Jacob, Connor B., and Tommy
Parents are welcome to attend!
*YEAR END CLASS PARTY! Wednesday afternoon, 1:45-2:45 p.m.
Thanks to our Carter’s mom and room parent, Leslie Vandenberg for organizing the festivities!
* Thursday, May 31st: Walking field trip to the Morley Nelson Community Center for a hip-hop dance class instructed by the Boise Parks & Recreation Department. Please return permission slips as soon as possible.
Friday, June 1st: Last Day of School, *11:00 A.M. Dismissal (Please note time change from last week’s newsletter. 11:00 a.m. is the correct dismissal time.)
8:30 a.m. MASS followed by the MOVING UP CEREMONY
A few last minutes in the classroom (possibly a few tears on my part!) and then it’s time to say good bye!
